Keep each stored item tied to its arrival date, inspection status and visible storage deadline. Follow this checklist to decide whether it is ready to ship or needs further action.
YOUR CHECKLIST
Record the arrival date, inspect promptly and check the current storage deadline in your account.
01
Confirm each arrival
Match the warehouse entry to the order, seller and selected variant. Save the arrival date and item identifier in a short list. If the quantity or option looks wrong, raise the question while the order record is easy to find.
02
Review the available evidence
Open the QC photos and compare the item with your order notes. Ask for a useful extra view or measurement if one detail remains unclear. Keep your inspection request specific.
03
Check the current storage terms
Read the storage deadline and any extension rules shown for your account and item. Do not rely on a date remembered from another order; services and item types can differ. Add a reminder before the visible deadline.
04
Decide the next action
Mark each item as ready to ship, awaiting evidence, or needing an after-sales request. When several items are ready, compare a combined parcel quote with separate shipment options before submitting.
Create a live arrival list
One parcel can contain items that arrived on different dates and need different checks. Record each warehouse entry separately rather than treating the combined shipment as one undifferentiated order. The date shown for an item in the account is more useful than a remembered general rule. Review the item while there is still time to ask for photos or consider the available after-sales options.
Choose a shipment point deliberately
Combine items when the expected goods have arrived, the important QC questions are settled and the route estimate makes sense. Waiting for another purchase can reduce the number of parcels, but it can also put an earlier item close to its displayed storage deadline. If an item remains unresolved, keep it out of a shipment plan until you know whether it can be used, returned or replaced.
KEEP THIS HANDY
One row for each warehouse item
Arrival
Save the warehouse arrival date, order ID, item and quantity.
Inspection
Note whether photos and measurements are complete, requested or still missing.
Deadline
Copy the storage date currently shown in the account and set a reminder ahead of it.
Disposition
Mark the item ready to ship, awaiting an answer or needing an after-sales request.
WORKED EXAMPLE
Example: combining items arriving on different days
A hoodie reaches the warehouse while a pair of shoes is still in domestic transit. Review the hoodie photos immediately rather than waiting for both items. When the shoes arrive, check their option and condition, then compare a combined parcel quote with the separate shipment possibilities. If the second item is delayed, use the storage date shown for the first item to decide whether waiting is still sensible.
Handle missing arrivals or approaching deadlines
An expected item does not appear in the warehouse
Check domestic tracking and the order status, then contact the relevant support channel with the tracking number.
A storage date is close
Check the current extension or shipment choices in the account and act before the displayed deadline.
The QC result is unresolved
Request the missing evidence or start the applicable after-sales process before adding the item to a parcel.
Questions about storage periods and consolidation
Should I assume every item has the same free-storage period?
No. Read the current terms and the deadline attached to the actual item in your account.
When should I combine items?
After the intended items have arrived, their condition is checked and the combined route quote makes sense.
NEXT STEP
Keep arrival dates with the product record
Use each item’s inspection status and current storage deadline to decide its next action before adding more purchases to the parcel plan.
