Essentials Hoodies 2026: Classic, 90s and Zip-Up Designs

Fear of God’s 2026 Essentials pages describe several distinct hoodie designs. Classic, Training 90s, Campus 90s and the zip-up versions differ in more than their graphics: published fabrics range from 380gsm blends to 520gsm cotton fleece, with different proportions and finishes attached to each named style.

Classic and 90s are design names within Essentials. A year, color or shared logo cannot supply the full specification of an individual hoodie.

SS26 Classic uses a relaxed shape and a back logo

The Essentials SS26 Classic Hoodie in Homestead Heather uses a stated 380gsm fleece blend of 80% cotton and 20% polyester. The published Classic fit has a relaxed body and sleeves. A double-layer hood, rib-knit cuffs and hem, and a kangaroo pocket complete a familiar pullover structure.

Its branding concentrates attention on the back, where a soft-touch Essentials Fear of God logo sits across the garment. Additional labels appear at the hood and cuff. A familiar pullover shape and a rear wordmark give the SS26 Classic a straightforward visual identity.

Training 90s changes the proportions and graphic treatment

The Training 90s Hoodie in Faded Black is described with 390gsm cotton fleece and a pigment-dyed finish. Its 90s fit is both relaxed and cropped. The front carries a raised-print Fear of God Essentials training graphic, and the hood has an Essentials label. Rib-knit cuffs and a rib-knit waist hem frame the shape.

The design places the graphic emphasis on the front and uses a shorter silhouette. “Relaxed” and “cropped” work together here: the first describes looseness, while the second describes the abbreviated body. That combination is a deliberate proportion rather than a smaller version of the Classic. The Training name also identifies a particular graphic direction within the wider 90s family. The clothing measurement article explains why body charts and finished garment dimensions describe different things.

Campus 90s has a heavier listed fabric

The Campus 90s Hoodie in Faded Black uses a published 520gsm fleece made from 100% cotton. Fear of God describes an exaggerated, cropped and relaxed silhouette with dropped shoulders. A pigment-dyed finish gives the color its washed appearance, and a campus-style puff-print graphic occupies the front. Side pockets and rib-knit edges complete the listed construction.

Campus and Training therefore develop the 90s idea differently. Campus pairs its larger listed fabric weight with dropped shoulders and a broad front graphic. Training has its own fabric and training mark. Their shared cropped, relaxed vocabulary leaves room for different proportions and graphic compositions.

A patch-logo 90s Hoodie follows another direction

The Vintage Black 90s Hoodie, style RW00281, shows how far the same family name can extend. Its published fabric is a 380gsm blend of 80% cotton and 20% polyester. The garment has dropped shoulders and front woven patches with glossy printed lettering, rather than the large Training or Campus front graphics.

The product photography places separate FGE and F26 patches on the chest. Two smaller blocks organize the front differently from the wider Training and Campus graphics. The patch version uses its own mix of fleece, dropped shoulders and restrained branding within the 90s family.

Signature Classic Zip Up keeps the Classic fabric direction

The Signature Classic Zip Up Hoodie in Pyrite Heather lists 380gsm fleece with an 80% cotton and 20% polyester composition. Its Classic fit is relaxed through the body and sleeves. The front opening divides the kangaroo pocket, while the hood remains double-layered. Hood and cuff labels continue the smaller branding details around the garment.

Across the back, this version uses a puff-printed Essentials signature graphic. The zip creates a different front structure from the pullover Classic, even though both share the same stated fabric blend and weight. A broad “Classic hoodie” label would therefore miss both the fastening and the different logo treatment of this particular piece.

The 90s Zip-Up has its own material and graphics

The Washed Iron Grey 90s Zip-Up Hoodie, style RW00388, lists 390gsm fleece made from 100% cotton. The finish is pigment dyed, and the silhouette uses a relaxed 90s fit with dropped shoulders. Rib-knit cuffs and hem, contrasting stitching at the hemlines and a hood label are among the published details.

The graphics distinguish it further: puff-printed FOG lettering takes a collegiate, Greek-letter-inspired form, with All Valley Essentials branding on the back. This is more than a zip added to the SS26 Classic. Its cotton fleece specification, proportions, stitching and graphic placement form a separate product design. The shared fastening joins the two zip-ups structurally without making their other details identical.

What the published fabric weights do and do not describe

Gsm expresses fabric mass in grams per square metre; it is not the total weight of the finished hoodie. The documented examples here include 380gsm cotton-polyester blends, 390gsm cotton fleece and a 520gsm cotton fleece. Those figures are useful specifications, but a complete garment also has its own cut, hood construction, trims and finishing.

Fabric weight is one part of the description alongside shape and finishing. The documented combinations give the collection its variety: a back-logo Classic, a cropped Training piece, a broad Campus silhouette, chest patches or a graphic zip-up. The figure alone does not describe the complete garment.

The 2026 collection contains several hoodie identities

The Summer Essentials 2026 collection includes 90s hoodies, 90s zip-ups and cropped panelled hoodies alongside other apparel. The collection title groups a season’s products; it does not give every piece the same body shape or fabric. Full names such as Training 90s and Signature Classic Zip Up remain important within that larger seasonal presentation.

Essentials develops familiar hooded forms through body length, shoulder width, fabric and graphics. The strongest differences sit in those combinations. Naming the complete style preserves them, even when several pieces share a color, a season or the Essentials label. Browse the hoodie and sweatshirt selection for the current catalogue references.
